Theme breaks custom post type pagination

I really like ‘Focused’, but unfortunately it breaks the pagination wherever certain custom post types are queried on my site. (Meaning pages beyond the first return a 404). Specifically this happens with the ‘audio’ and ‘video’ custom post types – not the other ones – so obviously there is a (slug) conflict somewhere. I thought this might be related to the post formats, but disabling these in functions.php makes no difference. Please advise…
