Meta description of home page

Hi there,

I’ve used the Time theme for a blog and it works really well – however I am having trouble changing the meta description so that it reflects when I share the home page link.

I changed the meta description under “theme options” but when I share the blog link on Facebook, the description it pulls is “full functionable, premium wordpress theme solution for your website.”

Please could you tell me how to sort this out?
